Overview
Ánima is a display typeface that explores a meeting point between artisanal idiosyncrasies of Mexican culture and historical conventions of Baroque typefaces.
The family started as an exploration of the proportions and ornamental features in Fleischman optical sizes alongside personal brush calligraphy explorations related to modern interpretations of pre-Hispanic carvings.
The outcome is a type family with strong personality, a game between tension and softness.
