Timonel is a revival project inspired by Fleischmann’s typefaces and Baroque styles. 

It was developed during the TypeMedia master’s program. During the design process, I undertook an in-depth study of Baroque typefaces from that era, visiting the Enschede archive in Haarlem and immersing myself in historical specimens until I found answers.

It was an exercise in observation, systematization, and drawing that laid the foundation for my final project.

I was fascinated by the research behind a project like this, and it became a defining factor in many of the decisions I made later for Ánima.
