Italic calligraphy piece made in Sant Antoine L’Abbaye in France in a calligraphic retreat with Keith and Amanda Adams.
My inspiration comes from an engraving by Juan de Icíar Vizcaíno, one of the first calligraphers in Spain to use the art of engraving and printing to teach his craft.
